SITE Fest 2010: March 6 + 7, 2010
Presented by Arts in Bushwick

SITE Fest is a two-day, multi-location interdisciplinary event, highlighting the diversity of performance in Bushwick. Encompassing theater, dance, music, and other forms of performance/live art, SITE seeks to expand the interaction between spectators and spectacle as both artists and visitors move through spaces, events, media, and styles.

SITE centers around three hub spaces: Chez Bushwick, our hub space for dance and movement based performance; Grace Exhibition Space, our hub space for performance art and duration-based performance; and 3rd Ward, our hub space for theater-based performance.

Performances will also take place in alternate locations including galleries, homes, studios, streets, and gardens. You can register to perform in your own space (as long as it’s in Bushwick), or you can register to perform in one of our hub spaces, where you will get space to perform, basic tech, and the support of a space manager and tech manager.

All registered performances are promoted through a profile on our website, and receive a listing in our printed map and program. You don’t have to live or work in Bushwick to participate, all performers and groups are welcome.

Finally, if you are a musician who’s interested in performing as part of SITE, please contact music@artsinbushwick.org to register for ionSOUND, our corresponding music festival. ionSOUND will take place on March 6 + 7 at Goodbye Blue Monday.

Registration is open until February 5, so act fast!

For more information on Festival registration, or to ask any questions about what kind of performances are appropriate to each hub space, please contact us at performance@artsinbushwick.org
